The consignor pre-files the electronic application form available on the website and drives the vehicle to the freight terminal to formalize the shipment. If no online application form is available, the consignor fills in the Consignor’s application form in writing from a pattern.
The warehouse agent accepts the application, assigns a number corresponding to the number of the reserved air waybill, and hands the documents to the air cargo security inspector (ACS).
The ASS inspector examines the cargo and puts a relevant mark on the consignor’s application. The consignor, on receiving the instructions from a cargo warehouse agent, unloads the cargo from a transportation vehicle, dumping it to the inspection equipment conveyor belt.
After weighing and measuring the cargo, the acceptance/delivery inspector signs the consignor’s application form to confirm the cargo acceptance. If the cargo is to be cleared by other public services (sanitary-quarantine, veterinary, phytosanitary, Line Internal Affairs Department for Transport, customs), the client applies to respective inspectors of the said public services for them to sign off the cargo.
The client then applies to the cargo warehouse agent for correction of the air waybill according to the consignor’s filled application form. The agent then takes in the cargo to a warehouse.
After performing the activities described above, the client leaves the grounds of a storage facility/depot.
Cargo terminal employees, customs post of the (freight) Orenburg Customs Office of the Orenburg Airport, representatives of supervising Services (sanitary-quarantine, veterinary and phytosanitary control), representatives of freight forwarders, customs agents and carriers are located in the office area.
